There is a built-in 5.1 surround sound system and a HD video projector in each lab for new media presentations. Applications include Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Studio Pro, Autodesk Maya, Microsoft Office, Acrobat, Firefox, Safari, Quicktime, GarageBand, and a variety of audio-video utilities and open source programs. Access to the lab is controlled, and only students enrolled in NM courses are permitted to use the facility.
The video-editing suite, Zeis 221, consists of 2 iMac Quad-Core computer stations, each with an additional 30" Apple Cinema Display and a 5.1 surround sound system. Upper level video and computer animation students with their instructor's permission may obtain the access to the lab.
